Question about an employee coming in and working from the an office inside a house while sitter is living in

Hey!

So outside gardeners are ok if you tell the sitter advanced time and dates. As for home cleaners, personally, we have had two sits where cleaners came in and it wasn’t an issue because we were given a time and date. I don’t think sitters will have a nay say about cleaners .

A note about the above: have each inform the sitter when they arrive so that they know it’s people doing work in/around your home and there are no surprises.

Also, adding to what @Maggie8K said, if you have runners, let the sitter know. I have put dogs in a separate area when I had to care for a runner and it kept headaches at bay (ie a baby gate in a living room while folks are coming in/out.)

You sound like a very considerate owner, and it’s great that you are taking notice of the Ts & Cs as so many don’t, or probably haven’t read them, and then come a cropper!
All the very best with your first listing and if, before you post it, you would like feedback attach it to your profile and post here.

Cleaners/gardeners are all negotiable and pretty reasonable requests if it’s a long term thing. We have sat in a home that also had its own beekeeper…

@Fred70 Thank you for having your employee work from home for the two weeks the sitter will be there. It’s prudent to have done so, and thank you for adhering to the terms and conditions.
