and yay, just confirmed a second sit for part of the one week sit that was cancelled. The two sits are back to back and replace the cancelled sit - perfect happy ending :slight_smile:

Out of interest- the first sit that you had no communication from , is their listing still live ?
Or did THS cancel the listing when they cancelled the sit on your behalf ?

that listing is not live at the moment. It was for a one week sit in the second half of October in England

The host’s membership has been made inactive until they respond to THS with some form of explanation, or at least that is what I was told on 29 September.

That seems very fair way of handling the situation by THS . Happy to hear that you have found replacement sit(s) . Well done for your resilience.

Well done on THS’ end, making sure hosts that don’t treat sitters fairly and with respect don’t do it again to the next.

Ahhh. Well done @cat.tails. Glad you got things sorted in the end. No one can say you weren’t persistent & patient. And great that THS assisted you with interventions.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We were rooting for you. And hopefully this thread may help others if they find themselves in a similar position.
