It’s not just the potential impact on the sitter. As a low-risk-taker, if I were a host I’d be thinking twice before welcoming a sitter from another country in case they were suddenly unavailable.
@DianeS where are you based? If in US I’d agree and would suggest you only accept US sitters for now. Entering US (to sit) for all other nationalities is indeed a risk. One not worth taking at the mo imho.
