Thoughtful little touches like this go a long way toward making me feel welcomed. I sat for a young couple with a very small apartment, I knew what I was getting into and packed and planned accordingly. However, despite the diminutive size of the apartment and minimal storage, it was clear they had made an effort to create space for me which felt welcoming and considerate.
