Hi both my partner and I undertake sits in UK and Europe. We have used THS to look after our house too we don’t have any pets but need people who know about gardening and will water greenhouses and garden (we open to the public but not when we are away!) no gardening as such just a lot of watering. We adore cats so any sit that involves cats is a joy. We also love border terriers and other little dogs. We have dabbled with chickens but not our preferred sit (always worried about the foxes) . All our sits bar one have been great. Learnt it’s importance to ask good questions before a sit , might seem obvious but things like how does the dog travel in a vehicle. Are there anythings the pet hates, our border hated whistles and match of the day.
