I’m an environmental scientist specializing in water issues, an outdoor enthusiast, animal-lover, gardener, writer and artist. My husband of 38 years shares many of my interests, can fix anything and dogs gravitate towards his calm, gentle nature. We are empty-nesters who have owned/loved a number of dogs, cats, horses and birds over the years, and continue to learn about animal behaviour. We are embracing this next chapter of our lives as we travel to new places and ponder the right time to retire. We appreciate the anxiety of pet owners looking for someone to trust because we, too, are lifetime pet and home owners.
