I grew up with dogs and cats, and have owned rescue dogs most of my adult life.

I am an adventurer and a history buff, who enjoys exploring new places to experience different cultures. Sometimes I prefer the energy of the city, and other times the quiet of the countryside. My favourite places are often those off the beaten path.

After housesitting for an extended time in Ireland, I will be returning for two months this summer to sit with 2 rabbits, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. My travels have deepened my appreciation for history, culture, and the whole experience. Since retiring last year, I now have time to focus on those adventures.
