We are a Canadian couple and have lived in Mexico over 14 years. Our travels primarily take us to Canada to see family but we do love to travel and have visited Thailand, Portugal, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Cuba, Costa Rica and Russia (well before the war). There’s a lot of world left to see and we hope to continue to travel.

We tend to take longer holidays, at least a month at a time or longer.

Our cat is now nearly 12 years old. She very much rules the roost and we adore her. We live in a modern house, a block from the beach. The city of Merida is 30 minutes away but Progreso has shops and restaurants and all the things you need.
