In my early 60s with three adult children, I’m an artist who can work from (almost) anywhere. Birds, plants and abstract patterns are favourite subjects. My husband of 34 years Kent is transitioning to retirement from his busy management consultancy and we have been travelling Australia in our caravan in 2022 and 2023. Together, we enjoy travelling, cycling, swimming, reading, cooking. We both grew up with dogs and cats in our homes. Back in the 1980s, we got married in London and travelled with a tent in Europe and we have since travelled throughout UK and North America and are keen to recommence doing this now that covid seems to be more manageable. Housesitting looks to be a good way to combine learning about and living in new places with the added bonus of pets to love. We prefer to travel and experience living in new places, not just be tourists. Friends who are members of TH have recommended this to us.
