Hi! I love animals, nature, playing music.
I am married to Stephen who is a retired Chemical Engineer. My background is mostly as a radio music and news announcer. I have travelled a lot in the past, mostly on cruise ships - about 45 cruises behind me and now I’m spending more time on terra firma.

I lived in Canada most of my life with 15 years in the United States. Originally from Montreal, went to school in Toronto for broadcasting. I worked on the air in most places I have lived. Spent 10 years in Texas and Louisiana and 5 years in the Seattle area. I have been back in Calgary for over 17 years. We own a townhouse on the ridge of a Provincial Park within the city of Calgary with one delightful Alexandrine Parakeet.

Most of my experience is with large and small parrots - both as an owner, and foster parent for local shelters. I have not done pet sitting for others, but am open for the adventure of meeting new people and pets.

I don’t drive and stay in most of the time - a pet / pets that prefer a lot of interaction would suit me best.

Looking forward to interacting on the boards here with other sitters. I can very easily entertain myself with reading, drawing, watching history and science programs and am a bit of a news junky - mostly things I can do anywhere.

I do enjoy a piano or keyboard.
