Bonjour! My husband Scott and I are currently in the process of moving to Saint-Cyprien France, in the Dordogne region. But we lived in Portland Oregon for 33 years. We love the Pacific Northwest, but as we are both retired now (me a former flight attendant, Scott a retired photographer), we plan to do a lot more world travel! Over our years in Portland, We owned two dogs (Koufax, a German Shepard: and Buckner, a Rotti/Shepard mix). We also had a cat named Switchback. All three lived happy full lives and have gone to their fur-ever heavenly homes. We currently have a kitty named Ringo, the prettiest gentlest little tortoise colored kitty in the world (at least we think so!). Until the house is ready here in France, she is staying with her auntie in California. Once it’s ready, she will come to live with us here, and from time to time, we will need someone to take care of her as well
