Woolly

I’m an active, retired teacher who loves to travel and really appreciates not having to take trips in school holidays any more . I taught in both primary and secondary mainstream schools and specialised in programming and working with students with disabilities and other learning/behavioural needs. It was a hugely rewarding occupation, but I was certainly ready to retire when I did.
I have two gorgeous cats, a tortie called Minnie and her ginger brother, Alby (named after Minerva and Albus from
Harry Potter).
I live on the Mornington Peninsula, near Melbourne in Victoria and love it. It’s a beautiful combination of village, beach and countryside, yet the city is only an hour away by car.
Each year, when possible, I travel to visit my son, his partner and her family, sometimes in Netherlands, other times in central Turkey where we have friends and Italy where we have relatives. I also love to take shorter trips, exploring Australia and countries a bit closer to home.
