Retired Registered Nurse and Executive Assistant and trusty sidekick Tessa, originally from Connecticut, USA. In 2020, we sold everything, climbed into our motorhome and began a journey traveling the USA that would ultimately last three years. The Greenville, South Carolina, area was one of our first stops on the road. It was just a stopover, not a destination, but when we saw downtown GVL (as locals affectionately call it) we were blown away. It’s so beautiful, with a large waterfall as the centerpiece of the city, it’s clean, new, and vibrant with art, music and theater! We new eventually we would settle down in a location with less snow, ice and freezing temperatures than Connecticut. Over the years, we identified various towns that we enjoyed, but our hearts always returned to GVL. And, now, here we are! Living the good life just outside GVL in the bustling down of Simpsonville!!
