I am a retired teacher from the Kawartha Lakes region in Ontario. My hubby and I downsized when we retired, and live in a trailer overlooking Buckhorn Lake for the 6 warmer months. We plan to travel cheaply January to May each year, but are looking for a way to "bridge the gap from mid October till mid December without living with our children the whole time. They are lovely, but we all need our space.

We are animal lovers. Our last “pup” passed a year ago and we miss him dearly, but decided against a pet until we are finished with our travel plans. When I found out we could live in a home (not with our children) AND have a furbaby to look after, I thought I’d died an gone to heaven.

We are looking forward to the experience.
