I’m a mother of two beautiful young women, one of whom has already left the nest, and the other will soon follow. My husband and I met online while I was doing my junior year of college in England. It was there that I got my first taste for travel and adventure. I love walking, hiking, and exploring new places and am happiest when following a new trail deep into the woods or a heading down a picturesque street to discover a new park or breathtaking view. My deep love for animals and for the earth is part of what led me to finally commit to a vegan diet in 2016. Though I don’t eat animal products myself, I still open a can of cat food every day for my favorite feline friend.

I grew up with cats and always thought of myself as a “cat person,” but several years ago we adopted a border collie/mini aussie from Rez Dog Rescue. Turns out I’m a dog person too. I have a golden retriever dog niece that I adore, and I can’t wait to meet my new feline nephew. I love to travel and can’t wait to visit my sister and her family in London! When I heard about Trusted Housesitters, I was so excited by the idea of getting to save money traveling by spend time with fur friends! I’m grateful for this opportunity and look forward to many adventures, all while being of service to other fur families.
