I fostered baby cats and puppies when I was in college for two years. My two housemates were studying animal science in school, and one of them worked at the animal shelter, so she always brought home new-borns that were going to be euthanized at the shelter. We took turn bottle-feeding them until they’re old enough to receive their vaccinations, then we post on social media for others to adopt for free. There were 5 cats and 3 dogs at our house at one time (one of them is a German Shepard), so that was a pretty crazy and unforgettable experience!

I also volunteered at the local SPCA in Sacramento. They provided some basic trainings for me - to walk dogs and basic care for them (large and small).

Other than that, I’ve looked after my friends’, neighbor’s, and family member’s pets before (I’m looking after my neighbor’s cat now while she stays at her other apartment in town.)

Absolutely love animals, and I’m very patient with them.
