We are Debb and Doug Driver from Okanagan and Similkameen Valley area of Southern British Columbia. We built a timberframe log home on 10 acres from scratch. We built the home using our chainsaw, sawmill and backhoe with our son’s help. We love to travel and experience new locations, history and culture. We recently changed our diet to a “Whole foods plant based diet”. With daily exercising, hiking and biking we have lost 100 pounds between us. We our fortunate to have done 8 housesits in sunny beautiful locations. Most of our sits have been long term winter sits in Southwest USA. We have the best of both worlds experiencing mild sunny winters in New Mexico, Arizona and the cool mountains of British Columbia.
