We’re a British family currently stationed in the California desert for my husbands job with the Royal Navy. We’ve been here almost 3 years & will return to the UK towards the end of 2022.
We came out as a family of 4 but our beautiful cat sadly got cancer 6 months after our arrival. So now we make the most of looking after people’s pets & incorporate it in to adventures around the west coast.
Before America I had a career in retail banking for 19 years. I’m currently doing a diploma course in HR for our return home to change the direction of my career. I love helping people but ready for a new challenge.
We are very grateful for the opportunities out in America & we’ve tried to make the most of them. We do miss the UK & I’ve become a little baker making some of the treats we miss!
