MagicalFarm
We live on a wonderful farm in rural northwest Oregon, outside the City of Sandy. We’ve been here 27 years and never fail to be thankful that we’re actually able to live in such a wonderful place.
We are a typical Old MacDonald’s type farm, and have had horses, sheep, goats, llamas, donkeys, and poultry. We’re “cutting back” now and are down to one horse, nine sheep, a goat, and two barn cats. We raise North Country Cheviot sheep, which are a meat breed, and yes - we sell our sheep for meat and also eat a lot of lamb ourselves. That’s the outside critters; we also have an over-the-top-wonderful Doberman Pinscher.
I’m retired and - as so many retired folks say - I am so busy now that I don’t know when I found time to work. I was an Organization Development consultant for over 40 years and had the great good fortune to travel all over the U.S., working with all kinds of industries. I still love to travel and that’s why I joined THS as a pet parent/home owner.
