I am a retired corporate event planner/manager, animal lover, vegetarian, non-smoker, tea drinker, nature lover, small business supporter. I love shopping at farmer’s markets, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, walking/hiking, checking out neighborhood shops, restaurants, museums and cuddling with dogs and cats. Detail oriented, conscientious and caring. Vaccinated and boosted.

I currently live in Austin, Texas. I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota originally. I have also lived in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California. I have owned homes in Santa Cruz and Austin.

The things that give me the greatest joy are animals and travel. I can’t think of anything better than pairing the two! I used to travel often for work and have been to 30+ countries. I’m looking forward to being an active sitter with TH…exploring new cities, states and countries while caring for your beloved pets and making new friends along the way.

My mission as a sitter with TrustedHousesitters is to keep your pet(s) happy, healthy, safe and on their normal schedule and to ensure your home is looked after while you are away. Animals make my heart happy and that is reflected in how I care for them. I take caring for other people’s pets very seriously. I am not afraid to ask questions before and during a stay. I provide regular updates as well as photos/videos. I am confident you will feel secure knowing your pet(s) and home are in good hands.

My experience includes 25 years of having my own dogs and five+ years as a professional pet sitter with my own business. I started a part time pet sitting business in 2017 while sharing two dogs with my ex-husband. The business was a way for me to get my dog love when my ex had our dogs. Our last dog died in March, 2022. Pet sitting has helped heal my heart.
