Hi, I have been sitting for about five years now, with a few return bookings. always nice to be aslked back to some housesits, especially one in Devon earlier this year. A lovely English Setter who thoroughly enjoyed our many coastal walks together and even loved swimming in the sea with me. Plenty of other very interesting sits but sometimes one will stand out from the others. Pre covid I had a six week sit in Australia that was amazing. Had hoped to do more like this but too many restrictions at the moment. I am based in Essex/Suffolk but do enjoy sits by the coast from Dorset to Devon/Cornwall. I would like to tie some in between the Lake District to Scotland in future if I can, perhaps towards the Spring. Always nice to explore slightly further afield. Happy with a variety of animals and so far have looked after, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, cats and dogs.
It has all been a really amazing experience and have stayed at some truely lovely homes from quaint cottages to the more stately, with extensive grounds and even swimming pools and tennis courts. Unfortunately no partner for tennis. I am very much looking forward to the next chapter and where it may lead me, with next mischievious companion, whose company I will very much enjoy.
