There’s a meet up section on here if you post your location and dates @kaliom - it’s not super detailed but we have used it successfully three times now

I would love to see a smoking/non-smoking tab added to the owner/pet parent listing. It would certainly help narrow down potential sits to apply to.
As a sitter looking for sits, I would like to have a filter option to exclude listings for dates that I am already committed to a sit.
yes, @kaliom I have met a few other sitters that way, when they were in my neck of the woods.
Also a lovely lady on here started Sunday night ZOOM CALLS, which was largely successful, with sitters from Scotland, England, Ireland, Canada, Usa, Italy, France, although in the last few weeks before it stopped one member who was on these calls only contributed when chat was centred around herself, poor me, this happened on my sit, that happened on my sit, most of it self inflicted as she would take any sit, accept any conditions, without doing due diligence, as long as “ the house had a nice view”, the rest of the time she seemed to be sleeping. It became tedious for the rest of us. Maybe she is on here and recognises herself.?
me too, it’s a bit of a faff.
I’m sure that THS knows the most frequently requested improvements from members. I’d love them to poll all members via a link in the newsletter with a choice of the top 3 (or 5), collate the results, publish them and then give a timeline when the changes might be introduced. Listen more and respond to what members are asking for, it would be an easy and cheap win.
That’s an interesting suggestion @TheEnglishFlaneur - I passed it over to the team. If I get any feedback I’ll pop back here with it!
Jenny received some good reviews on the Forum which are well earned.
However, when I read on many threads that she has “passed it over to the team” I can imagine the reaction that she receives from the “team” Oh no, she is here again and we will ignore these suggestions once again. Off to the bin never to be seen again ![]()
