Advice sought for writing a review

As a sitter this point would concern me a lot , if you want to also cover this you could add this to your review .

Xx declined to provide me with any information about which vets the dogs are registered with although I did specifically request this (as I do for all housesits) .

This happened to me once. I had noticed the clutter in the pictures and thought it would not bother me much but it didn’t occur to me that showing that clutter as the public image of someone’s home might imply a bigger level of neglect and lack of hygiene, which it did in this case. I am now much more careful with that.

You’re right! I believe clutter and even wrinkled bed covers shows that there will be more neglect in the home.

I love Chat GPT…. I hope everyone is checking it out. I hardly ever google anything anymore.

This is not okay! It’s unrealistic to assume one always has time to reach the HO and get a return response if a pet has an emergency. I have a pet sitting business and have had several crises requiring rushing pets to the vet before I could even attempt to reach the pet owner. Sometimes you have only seconds or minutes to get the animals emergency care. In fact, I would say vet info is the MOST important detail of any house sit.

The dogs probably haven’t been to the vet in ages, no check ups, vaccines, or ongoing medical care. I would not take a sit under these conditions.

Well I don’t think that’s the case
