I would like to know what you sitters think about pet sitters showing availability to pet owners so they have the choice to book sitters that way.
It could be another option for them, could you share your opinions?

There is the sitter’s calendar, and it does not work.
So I plan to do some more pet sitting this spring, in the Netherlands and in England. But I am certainly not available in the US or in Australia.
If you check a sitters profile they may say which countries they are interested in sitting- although many people may not have bothered to choose specific countries. Our profile, for example, is showing world wide availability as we like to go with the flow. But in reality we are not interested in everywhere- we just like to keep our options open! And the sitter calender may or may not be up to date! If a sitter is on a THS sit the dates will crossed through. Every other date they may or may not be available! Most sitters find it too difficult to use the calender, and most hosts don’t seem to look at it anyway, as we frequently get invited for already booked dates! E g we got a good 10 invitations for Christmas sits after we were already booked!
So Its a bit if pot luck inviting siters the way the site is currently set up!
The THS sitters calendar already exists, but it is totally flawed, so we don’t use it.
