Basic vs Premium Sitter Plan

I am currently Standard but planning on doing only 3 domestic sits with THS next year (already booked) so might even downgrade to Basic.

It’s not fair to say that Premium offers no extra benefits. You described why those extra benefits don’t work for you, that does not apply to all members who may very well enjoy the lounges and benefit from the cancelation insurance. You also get a badge on your profile that says you’re Premium and some members feel that will get you more sits or sitters. There are a few smaller less tangible perks such as higher visibility for sitters, notifications when a favorite sit becomes available, being able to see who favorited you are a few.

Everyone here is essentially writing how the changes will affect/apply to themselves. It’s just that most are only doing it once or twice

“There is no extra benefits being offered”

Not being unfair I meant for that sentence to read as “the booking fee offers no extra benefits” I can edit to make that clear.

Sit Cancellation Plan, two Global Airport Lounge Passes, and a Premium Badge

There are some who truly believe the badge to be the difference between getting a sit and not getting a sit and that even the visibility and placement of the badge on a profile can make the difference. I’m not one of them.

My plan is ‘basic’ and I am accepted for the vast majority of sits I apply for. I can’t remember the last time I had a decline.
I feel reviews carry more weight than a ‘badge’ someone has paid extra for.

Absolutely with you on that one ! Reviews are the hallmark of sterling sitters!

Is premium badge a search filter for Homeowners? I dont see it as a sitter.

If the premium badge is supposed to mean something, why was it moved to the bottom of our profile (for sitters, not HOs)?
