How can I get into my account? I have been denied access because I have not agreed to terms and conditions.

You cannot get into your account until you accept the Terms.

I’ve read them and don’t want to accept.

You’re stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place.

If your beef is related to sitters being responsible for vet bills and property damage you don’t have a valid complaint.

Yesterday, the terms were not available so I reached out to member services to request access before agreeing to them. This morning I received a message asking if I would accept a 20% discount on my renewal to maintain my membership or would I prefer a refund. It was a little odd since I never mentioned cancellation but only asked for a copy of the terms and conditions but this seems typical of their communication style

Like any service, you either agree with their T&C’s or you don’t use the service. You can’t just decline their terms. However, you can mitigate them by working with the homeowners on ensuring the vet bills will be covered in case of emergency. (For example.)

Nope you are wrong. I have declined the terms and have been successful in receiving a refund. Thanks for taking the time to comment though. :slightly_smiling_face:

Same here. Got my refund.

Agreed, however the terms were not visible until today

I spoke to THS, it won’t let you access anything until you accept them.

While the new changes don’t affect me too much, I don’t think it’s right for anyone to be forced to agree to new T&C’s without having time to review the them properly first, and denying immediate access to all of our accounts doesn’t feel like a fair or appropriate way to do it, business-wise.

I’ve already passed on my feedback to the team about the non-access thing, but I suggest you do the same and send a message to @support.

I have been looking into this elsewhere legally. It appears that THS may have been breaking UK Consumer Law, by how they have gone about this. And, so, this may explain their concession at issuing refunds if members do not agree to the updated T&Cs. I was able to read the T&Cs - but was still issued with a refund and cancellation of my membership when I stated I did not accept them.

I was thinking this too. That much said, I’ve only seen a very small number of members actually outright requesting a refund and canceling rather than accepting the Terms.

Most are simply canceling auto-renewal which doesn’t deliver nearly as strong a punch, in fact I wonder if THS even monitors auto-renew cancelations?

They were available through a google search, just not through logging in.

From what I’ve seen those are older versions, the most recent being from August 2025, that don’t reflect the most recent changes including the dreaded “Booking Fee”.
