I had a sitter that broke a small picture frame, she was distraught, but as she told me immediately, I wasn’t at all bothered.
I did have another sit, not through THS, where the son broke a sentimental ornament, but hid the breakage. When I contacted the sitter after I got back ( they had to leave before my return due to impending rail strike) she said her son would have not have done that, but offered to pay anyway. I managed to glue it back together, and it wasn’t the breakage that annoyed me, we all have accidents, but the fact that it was hidden that got me.

I was cleaning one time —it was a warm day, windows open, and wind blowing. Knocked over a candle holder—and broke. I looked for a replacement although I wasn’t in room when it happened. The HO understood when I told them. She had asked me several times to return.
