Having organised a successful meet-up in London back in July 2022 we find ourselves on a house sit in Lausanne and would like to try to repeat the experience there. We have noticed there are several sits in this area over the Christmas period and would like to extend an open invitation to all, both sitters and homeowners that will be in the area.
We have decided to host a lunch time “brunch” meet-up on Saturday December 23rd from 1pm to 3pm at Cafe de Grancy, Avenue du Rond-Point 1, Lausanne, 1006, Switzerland.
All dogs are welcome and we will be bringing a Golden Retriever who we will be looking after at the time. Please feel free to bring your canine friends so we can make it an extra special experience.
We have chosen Cafe du Grancy because not only is it dog friendly but it is only 200 metres from the Lausanne overground railway station and 50 metres from Grancy Metro station. The cafe offers a delicious brunch menu with a wide selection of foods and desserts and after lunch the shoreline of Lac Leman is not too far away to take a stroll with our canine charges or there’s always the Christmas Market, known locally as the Bô Noël.
We have made a provisional reservation with the restaurant but would very much appreciate a relatively quick response so that we can firm up on the numbers. If you could reply on here or DM me to say that you would like to attend that would be great, thank you.

This sounds like such a lovely event! I wish I could attend and bring my furry friend along. The location seems perfect, with easy access to transportation and beautiful spots to explore afterwards. I hope everyone has a wonderful time at the brunch meet-up!
Just seen your post, what a lovely idea! I will be in Coppet at that time (about 30 mins away) looking after a couple of dachshunds. Would love to meet up with some fellow sitters! Could I add my name to the reservation?
