I recently contacted TH about this issue and was told that as long as both homeowners were aware of the overlap then there was no issue. Only a few weeks later they instituted this policy change…

Is there a reason why we can’t simply have a notification system? If a sitter has an overlap, both homeowners are automatically notified. This means that homeowners and sitters can make their own decisions about this issue rather than having the choice taken away?

We’ve been fulltime house sitters for 3 years now and have almost 50 completed sits. When a short overlap occurs we always inform all homeowners and its never been an issue.
