Don’t know, @Cuttlefish. In my case, some hosts have specifically mentioned my work. Not just for unsolicited sits, either. Like I’m on a sit now where the host highlighted his interest in my work when he replied to my application at the outset. I’ve sat for other tech/startup folks as well. Maybe because we have concentrations of such folks in the U.S.
I’m wondering do HOs also look at sitter activity on the forum, to pick up ‘tone’ and attitudes? I had an invitation that mentioned an animal in a story not in my profile but who I’d mentioned here in the forum….if I was a HO I know I would but then again I’m a natural forensic researcher
