If you have a device like this on your pet, there’s really no need to keep checking in with your sitter unless your device shows something is genuinely off. That is the whole point of having it, to give you peace of mind without hovering over your sitter. Let your sitter do their job and let them reach out with questions first.

To set up a Tractive virtual fence, open the app, tap the Map or Profile tab, select Add Virtual Fence, and define a Safe Zone or No-Go Zone. Shape it (square, circle, custom), name it, and save. Tractive alerts you via your phone if your dog crosses this virtual boundary.
