Thank you all. Obviously, I knew I could read reviews ABOUT the sitter, but I didn’t know I could check the other way as well. So good to know! Always learning something new on this forum.

As a HO, I’ve had the same thing happen to us. We bent over backwards for this sitter and nothing. I asked THS if HO can review sitters reviews of other HO to see if this is a sitter who just doesn’t write reviews. This is not a feature of THS.
How can you do this? I asked THS this and they said it couldn’t be done.
That’s not necessarily true. If a HO leaves a review for a sitter you can then click on the HOs name and see if/what review the sitter left.
You click on the icon of the sitter (might be via the app only not website), & it takes you to their other sits and past reviews. Should be possible as soon as they apply

Thank you! You are correct and I just checked my previous sitters review of their last sitters. I have no idea why they didn’t review us. We went above and beyond for them. My home was spotless for their arrival. Oh well, off to the next sit.

Click on the sitter’s bio and you’ll see their previous sits. Click on each of the sit listings and scroll till you see their name. If they wrote a review, it will be visible. You have to do this one by one.
Of course you can do this, despite what THS might’ve told you. Maybe they misunderstood your question.

Thank you! THS must have not understood. I’ve tried this now and it works. I’ll do this more in the future.
I checked that sitter’s reviews and they’re mixed — down rated and reviewed by some hosts as not being a good communicator, for example. That would’ve been a warning sign for you and other hosts.
Also down rated multiple times for problems with cleanliness, another sign of spotty responsibility.
When people are responsible (or not) they tend to show a pattern. Better to pay attention to such.

I’m not sure what you’re reading, but the sitter we had most recently had all 5* reviews and glowing reviews. I don’t see anything that would state a mixed review. We took a couple stars off our review for a few things.
