I sure hope you put this in the review to warn other sitters. I had two bad sits because the pets were not as advertised and I ended up getting blamed because I said I was leaving meanwhile it was the homeowners fault for poorly behaved animals. At least TELL the sitter!
Yes, I did as future sitters did need to be warned. He was a beautiful and responsive dog at home but just hadn’t been trained to walk without constant pulling on the lead.
Been a sitter for 9 years and had many first time owners with no issues. The most recent one - a 3-week sit finished a week ago. They could not be more accommodating and thoughtful. They left me a 5-star review and hoped that I will return.

I had same experience w a 3 Star review…(overall(but she checked all 5 stars on the options like cleaning etc. Her first time as h/I also. I think it’s user error. THS would not change it unless the H/I contacted ths about error w 3 star
Well, a subsequent sitter and previous ones managed the situation appropriately as they are experienced pet sitters. In my opinion, you are unsuited for international house-sitting if you cannot manage a barking dog.

She had cameras installed inside the house—and apparently, in her view, you were either leaving the house too often or feeding the pets at times other than what she wanted. These are sick, unbalanced people, and what they are doing is illegal. This is a service exchange site, not a platform for slavery.
Why international?
So you’re saying the HO was monitoring her daily movements, didn’t like when she was coming and leaving, and that’s why they gave a low score?
If what you say is true, this HO needs to be tossed immediately. Who knows what they might be videotaping.

I have 2 more positive reviews after the 2 bad sits, one being a repeat. So there’s that.
I suspect the mention of unsuitability for an international sit is because you screwed up with Schengen and the number of days you can stay. There’s also the issue with your flights for one particular sit.
I left 2 sits early because of misbehaving and inacurrately described pets.
People make mistakes.
Yes I understand that, but it does impact on your suitability for overseas sits in the eyes of many owners. These are big administrative slip ups and might raise flags.
@RedLassie I couldn’t resist looking up your use of TEFLON here. I had thought perhaps the F would stand for a specific word. I was wrong. I found the actual use interesting. 
Cameras wouldn’t need to be inside for this kind of monitoring. On a dog sit the dog might have an air-tag on its collar or the home might have ring cameras at the door. That is a possibility. I don’t think it is certain based on the review alone and the sitter who wanted to vent about her frustration hasn’t been back.
But as several people pointed out, with this kind of review, the host is going to have a harder time thant the sitter because of it.
A blamethower is another good word for someone who tries to attribute blame to someone or something else.
Of course, I don’t know for sure, but judging by her review—where her rating was lowered for such strange things as ‘‘feeding procedures, housekeeping, etc’’ And honestly, the audacity of some of these hosts simply shocks me! You are getting a high-end service for free!! Good people understand this. But, of course, there are some “stars” on the site who act as if you owe them something. I weed those types out immediately—everything becomes clear right at the video call stage. For instance, on one occasion, a woman immediately asked me if I had a job and where I worked. Given that I work in investments fr myself, I am under absolutely no obligation to answer such questions! so I instantly told her, “I have no interest in sitting here for you,”
