So after the watering is done in the garden Gus guides the sitter to the garage for the games to begin.
Meanwhile the cats are having a pre tea snack on the lawn..Lou caught the mouse and Max, his brother from the same litter, is finishing it off.
Let’s keep murder in the family. Band of brothers!

I’m squeamish and give blood reluctantly.. so it’s never an easy discovery.. luckily it’s on the tiled floor and I have a Dettol gun to shoot the germs dead!
It’s in the job description small print so I have to rise to the occasion! Twice in a week and counting!

I have to say though, I found it harder to pick up and dispose of the two uneaten wild rabbits that Walter-cat brought home for me one night, than I did to dispose of a half eaten mouse!

So very true ! Prey or just play.. it’s crueler if it’s just an entertainment. These cats are well fed .. constant full bowl, but the call of the Wild is deafening!
