Bliss cats never fail to amaze me.the positions they get in and the expressions.
I’ve been thinking that it would be helpful to have a collar and bell on my current housemate as I’m always wondering where he is. This afternoon it wasn’t difficult to find him as I could hear his gentle snoring sound. One contented cat. I tried creeping up on him to take a photo of him sleeping, but wasn’t successful.
Some days it’s not an easy task to make a bed, especially on a house sit. First trying to get the cat off the bed to air it is the challenge.
When he finally went downstairs, he curled up in his bed on the sofa, after his servant had fed him, of course.
It’s a dull grey Monday here, so we’re both having a lazy day.
This house is also a new home for my purring roommate as the family recently moved. Today was the first morning warm enough to open up more windows, and so the first for Saffron to get a good view from this side of the house. He soon leapt up on the window ledge to check things out. He’s been happily perched there for a while now. Ironically, the family moved from just two houses away, but being an indoor cat only, it’s still a totally different world view for him.

Leaving France for the UK and leaving our strays (who will be well looked after by the village cat collective here in France). But will miss seeing them daily all the same.
