I’ll be having a winter for the first time in many many years and I’m thinking of buying an electric blanket. I can keep the room i’m in at a tolerable temp for me and kitteh but still be warmer. and I like to sleep cold at night so I wouldn’t use it then but from experience, turning it on before I get out of bed for my morning bathroom trip makes getting into a nice warm bed sooooo nice. lol
FWIW, I live in a van with no heat and I regularly sleep down to low single digits in it and sleeping between two fuzzy blankets makes all the difference. I can stay cozy warm all night when I sleep in a fuzzy blanket sandwich with a duvet on top.
