Thanks for letting me know @Dee - I’m glad that Thessa was able to help!
I hope the new photos system works better than the old.
I posted this Feb 2023 and the required photos did not occur.
The Help section on THS has this in
Listings and profiles > Listing and profiles photos > Do I need to add photos?
Pet Parent
As a pet parent, you must add at least 5 interior photos and 2 pet photos to your home listing and the more you can add the better. Displaying clear photos of your home and pets will help improve your success on the platform as it helps potential sitters get a feel for where they will be staying and who they’ll be looking after.
You should add an account photo on your dashboard so that sitters can put a name to a face.
Every listing on the platform is manually approved by us to make sure no sensitive information has been added. However, make sure not to include any number plates or street names or photos of children, for your own security and so your privacy is protected.
That is very debatable
@Wetravel Only tonight I’ve seen a new listing in Australia by new owners with no photos at all, limited information and no Amenities list or new Pet Care info completed!!
Can I suggest that a direct member email (with an adequate waiting period afterward) is the appropriate method to notify users of any change which would:
a) cause a listing or profile to go inactive,
b) cause the owner of said listing or profile to be unable to re-save it upon editing
c) create a change to membership costs or fees
d) significantly change the ToS under which members operate
Thanks! ![]()
Saw a listing today and the responsibilities page was blank, apart from a generic half page message that was along the lines of “woops so empty. Maybe time to update information on your page”. Wasn’t my page, it was a HO’s listing. Maybe when the sitter pays their membership fee it will appear ![]()
Another glitch probably. Some parts must be filled out in order to get past the dreaded “your listing isn’t live until you fix a few mysterious items but we won’t tell you what they are” but other omissions get past the automatic screening process.
