As sitters, are we able to contact a home owner if they don’t have a current listing?

Not to my knowledge unless things have changed very recently. Usually I favorite them and wait for notification when a listing is posted.
If they do have a listing that doesn’t match my availability, I will still send a mssg and withdraw the application immediately solely to open the inbox for future communication.
