Is there a way to report owners

@lilo
The only reason I can see to involve THS would be if the homeowner is refusing to unconfirm the sit from the dashboard.

I would let it go, it’s not something that’s worth involving THS. However, it was in fact rude, no question about that. I’m pretty shocked at some of the comments saying it’s okay for a HO to be rude. A sitter cancels because there has been some serious negative event in their life that they need to deal with so the HO has a right to be disrespectful? No, just no.

I wonder if the situation was flipped and it was the HO canceling and the sitter being rude if people would think that’s ok? Most likely there would be outrage. I had a HO cancel 4 days before the start of the sit. I had to drop everything and frantically try a find accommodations. I was still polite in my interactions with the host and wished them the best in dealing with their situation.

Someone disrupting your plans does not give you the right to be disrespectful. When using THS we all know there is the possibility of a cancellation, emergencies happen in life. We all knowingly take that risk. It’s never ok to be rude and disrespectful.

@lilo I hope your emergency works out and that you and your family are all ok.
