I’ve edited the listing to mention that the cleaner can be rescheduled as per a sitter’s convenience.
Thank you so much for your comments! I had to step away from the forums after being told to rehome my cat. I agree with you completely that the language of THS’s terms and conditions pretty much ensures a lot of people are going to have to creatively describe their pets, because there isn’t a puppy or kitten that I know of that hasn’t at some point ‘attacked’ its sibling, parent, and human.
I couldn’t see any option to reply to my reviews when I went to my listing page. Maybe it’s not part of the desktop version? At any rate, I’ll edit the listing to provide information about what’s changed since those reviews to make it more comfortable for sitters.
I don’t know if I have the energy to go and leave a review for this website somewhere else, and they did, ultimately, both restore my listing and offer me an apology, which I am glad for. But I have realised I need to save screenshots of my listing and my reviews, because if I am ever suspended like that again, I have no way to access those reviews as evidence.
Thank you so much for commenting and sharing your perspective - I was feeling rather isolated in the way I thought of animal interactions, and you really helped with that!
You click on the review and, at the very bottom of it, there’s a “respond to review” option.
I tried that but clicking on it doesn’t take me anywhere. Maybe its because I have a combined profile? Even though I’m logged in when I look at my own listing it tells me I am not available on those dates and offers to let me favourite it.
Don’t you have a “past sits” section on your dashboard?
It can only be done if they wrote a review, at the end of each review, there’s that option.
The app vs desktop functionality varies. Responding to reviews is a link at the bottom of a review viewed in the app. No such link exists on the desktop display of the reviews.
I don’t blame you. That suggestion came across as judgmental given the limited context of your few sentences in this forum. It’s best to remember that the written communications online rarely reflect the full situation or the person that is the writer.
I’m glad to have been some help.
@OnTheRoadAgain I just checked one of my reviews I received in December 2025 where I chose not to respond. This is at the bottom on the review in my account on the website:
I just had to scroll down a bit (I’m on a 13" screen) and it shows. @Billiwaali
