Although it is true that the HO can stipulate a local sitter, it certainly greatly reduces the number of available sitters. Very few sitters want to sit in their hometown.
I would be prepared to sit locally on occasion. When I’m having renovations done on my own home for example. If the pet was a favourite then I could get the fluffy fix and still keep to my routine. It just depends.
