The other 2 requests that stand out while doing a pre sit video call was a HO that asked me to arrive a week early and stay at the 5 star resort hotel in Cyprus to get to know me beforehand. Oh and this was at my expense. I think it would have cost me £2100.
The other request was also with a Cyprus HO. They casually mentioned that they didn’t in fact have 3 cats to look after but an additional 6 semi feral cats in a barn on the property. Some of these need daily medication. The HO reckoned it would take me no longer than 2 hours a day to administer said medicines a few times a day. He than asked if I could also walk the neighbours dog for 2 hours a day.
Both sits were declined!

Not just all day, some pets need to sleep with you, so 24 hours, day and night, I think these days some pets are nurtured to be depend by their humans. Imagine paying someone by hour how much the hosts would need to pay for just a single day, yet, there are still people applying for those sits and those HOs gets 5 star reviews, I’ve seen all sorts of listings with 5 star reviews, what can you do about it? They are willing to

Some folks are desperate and/or have low standards. Or maybe they actually have no intention of doing what the host demands.
