What is the algorithm used for RECOMMENDED sits? The sitter’s location? Past sits? Other criteria? Thanks.

I have no idea. We could try to reverse-engineer the algorithm, but I think I should focus my TH time on other tasks. Especially because they may change the algorithm or even have different versions they’re testing at any given time.
I have noticed that I see “low applications” sits first, even before “last minute” (w/non-low apps).

Yes that is odd I think, particularly as there are applicants anyway so the HOs could be contacting them
