Agreed. No propane.
In addition to the asphyxiation danger of burning gas, propane also can explode. The gas is heavier than air and if there’s a leak it can collect in low areas like a basement. I know of two fatal house explosions caused by propane in my state recently. (and these accidents usually only get very local news coverage.)
If you use propane (as we do), please install an alarm than can detect this gas. A regular smoke detector does not detect propane.
