It’s that time of year again when Santa Con descends upon many cities. I’m still home in San Francisco , and met with a friend today at union Square for this rather silly, yet vibrantly red event. The best part was meeting Santa Paws. Meet Sydney the star of the event.

What is Santa Con?
@Smiley SantaCon is an annual event where people dress as Santa Claus or as other Christmas characters and parade in hundreds of cities around the world. A December 2015 article on Vox website described SantaCon as "a roving, loosely organised event where people dress like Santa Claus, elves, or other holiday figures and parade around a city in varying states of sobriety.” It’s comparable to other adult party days, like St. Patrick’s Day or Halloween.

Yup that’s what it is! After union Square they’ll all descend on Polk Street for the pub crawl, and it’s not a pretty site

USA, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware - it was even crazier at the bars afterwards, lol!
