Sitter cancellations seem to be more frequent

You could for instance say, if someone cancels X number of sits, they’ll suffer consequences. The consequences could range from being blocked from sits for X amount of time or losing your membership, for example. Or it could be noted on your profile, like this sitter canceled their last three sits.

there should really be an option to mark on a cancelled sit, that it was cancelled by the sitter. That way people can see if the sitter has a track record of cancelling before accepting their application.

do feel that if there were some sort of negative consequence (financial penalty or a red flag on on your profile) then people wouldn’t do this,

There seems to be an increase in sitters cancelling sits at short notice, some with very flimsy excuses. This should be able to be seen by HO’s on their profile. Also they should not be allowed to apply for other sits (better ones) on the same dates they have cancelled.

It would be nice if users could see when an owner or sitter has canceled on the profile. That way we can avoid them like the plague lol.
