I notice you mention bicyclists, there is no such word, it is cycllsts.

I have checked and it does exist. It’s registered in the Oxford Learner’s Dictionary

When a language is spoken in so many countries and regions it’s impossible to be familiar with all the words used by other speakers in other parts of the world.
