Thanks @Smiley for the update. I’ve been wondering how @Colin is getting on. Being from Queensland we get a bit blase about cyclones and the resulting weather as we go through this kind of thing frequently this time of year. We are still dealing with the impact of storms and resulting flooding in Brisbane from Feb 2022. It’s often a long road to recovery…
Poor NZ though, this is uncommon weather for them. Apparently their worst weather event in 100 years. Sadly 4 people have lost their lives.

Update on @Colin & Karyo. Their flight from Napier to Auckland is showing as scheduled. Their flight from Auckland to Melbourne shows ‘check in and go to security’
