UNavailability

Am I the only sitter who finds the functionality of the ‘availability calendar’ incredibly frustrating?
Usually, one would populate a calendar with dates when busy, i.e., unavailable. But, on the THS one, it works completely the other way around, so any appointment, etc., that crops up, necessitates splitting available time into smaller and smaller chunks. Very annoying and time consuming, and I can’t always keep it accurate.
Also, it must be hugely frustrating for Homeowners who assume that sitter is available, and waste time inviting them. I regularly have to decline invitations
I’ve asked THS about this before, but haven’t had a satisfactory answer/solution.

You just need to use the spyglass to see that the Calendar is often raised by members as being useless!

From previous conversations on here, most seem to agree it’s useless, THS is great in so many ways, but the calendar is flawed.

We don’t complete it at all, as it’s misleading for others to interpret, it’s also looks different on the app & laptop.

Why don’t they listen? We’re all ( including Homeowners) paying for membership!

Yes, you’re absolutely right, if I remember rightly, you can do more on the web-based version, than on the app🙄

I have just tried to report this to membership services but a nightmare. I only wanted to make a report and asking for information I could not find about me.

A sit in Trowbridghe UK is advertising for a sitter for a dangerous banned breed of dog.
Buddy conforms to the latest legislation of a XL Bully and has full liability insurance and exemption certificate.
I would not sit an XL Bully as they are unpredictable and can turn on anyone.

You can forward the listing by e-mail to support@trustedhousesitters.com

Banned breeds are not permitted in THS .
