What happens to sitter’s airfare if pet parent cancels?

Sitter has to pay for the airfare anyway or change the flight dates or get a credit or a refund. Hosts aren’t liable. #planb

Zip, zero, nada. That’s why you need a refundable ticket or a plan B. But if you have a premium membership you can at least get drunk in a free airport lounge while swearing under your breath.

THS is purely a matching service- all other agreements are down to the HO/sitter. It’s sensible to get refundable tkts as a sitter (yes more expensive) or have a contingency fund to pay for accommodation whilst searching for a last minute sit at the location.
